We went to see Santa for the first time today. Santa at Phipps is a hard guy to see. You have to preregister in September then hope to get an email in time to get an appointment. So of course, I buy their outfits in July (except my sweet friend Deidre bought one of the dresses as a welcome gift. Such a great friend!) and get matching monogrammed sweaters, tights and bows. Well what do you know...it's 70 degrees outside today! We ditched the sweaters for the day and just went in our short sleeves. After our visit with Santa we took the girls to the Tavern for a little lunch. When they're a little older we'll maybe take them across the street to the Ritz for lunch or a "tea". Such a fun day!

We also went to Christmas on Peachtree. Let me tell you, it was L-AME. $12 per adult to get in plus $5 to park. It was supposed to be this awesome Christmas experience. No, it was in an empty building downtown and there were like 2 things for kids to do (not ours, but older). So we took a picture and left.
In other news, Emilie started crawling on Wednesday night. She's not fast and furious yet, but she does get to where she wants to be....like the dog toy basket.
